HELLO '09.!

i used to be fluent in articulating goodbyes, but now doesnt feel right. herrr.


my writings of '08 have been one hell of a chapter- half of which could have easily ditched me into the hearts of woodbridge for the seemingly unending emotional rollercoaster.
but hey, here i am in one piece and a sound mind.!

what i could recall (in 3 seconds,!) mentioning each month of '08...

January,
home-rotting, flyer's job (w fadh!), cookie's bday surprise (w lala/icing!), booked driving's BTT (passed!), SCAMZS anniv meetup, short-lived CTAU's tuition, aye's bday meetup (w maria!), beloved daddy's bday!! blood donation at botanics (w lala!), housecrash baking (at fadh's!), LJ/ai/icekachangs/jobhunt (w myra!), stupid stupid stupid ___ ps RT false hopes.! haha.

okay, i cheated. that wasnt 3 seconds. that was, organiser-flipping 30seconds.? hahaha.


the ensuing months were exhausting, more psychologically than physically. prolonged period of anticipation is detrimental to the soul, please.

A's results release,
University(s) application (and waiting for results),
English EPT (and waiting for results),
MOE's interview (and waiting for results),
TTA signing (and waitinggg),
NIE/NTU's welcome package( and waitinggg),
Course Registration, Welcome Ceremony(s), Freshmen Orientation Camp, yada yada...

but hey, all ends well.! here i am attaining sufficiently well GPA for sem 1 in NIE/NTU.! hee, despite all those wretched waiting.? alhamdulillah syukur.!


and though my 6 months pre-NIE were memories of home-rotting (predominantly), i did meet many NICE new people.!

my very sweet superiors/seniors at Times Centre.
my superrr gorgeous colleagues/friends at PJ's Republic Poly job,
(and i must mention dear Sinyi and Liyana.! muchloves.)
my dear new juniors of IJ's FB girls' team.!

anddd of course, in the recent 6 months (or less.!) my new darlings and friends of NIE/NTU.! Spartans, Modulemates, GESLmates, BSC Club seniors, yada yada...

but hey, i'm still doing well (and trying hard.!) finding time for gorgeous old darlings.! for raya/iftar minimum.!
TJJT, AI-hmt darlings, E1/E2 AIgang, IJFloorballers, IJDucklings, BdaySurprise gang. yada yada...

and and andd,
my greatest sense of plethora/achievement for year '08.!
(no.! definitely not my A's you nuthead.! haha.)
(okay yes, getting my first choice BSc Edu could compete for top 3.)

i'm a LICENSED driver.! whee.!
(yes okay fine, on probation.! haha.)

passed FTT in Feb. failed TPtest in June, crushed tenfeet under please. decided to reapply in Sep. thennn, 2nd TPtest passed in Nov.! alhamdulillah syukur.!


ouwh, i've to mention about my long-lasting love too. i'm probly 98% over and done with him (or her.? haha.!). very sad please, but im moving on...
the last time i touched my fb stick/ball was, september.?
gosh.!
absence does make the heart grow fonder, and ignorant in my case.

well for all it's worth,
im thankful i got to serve my team oneee last time this year.

and the only reason i've not mentioned my dear-ouwh-beloved family in this last entry of 2008 is that-
there's just TOO MUCH to narrate about them.!
my family is simply fundamental important vital significant primary rudimentary imperative to my life.! i need not even search the dictionary to describe my family's place in this fairly constricted heart of mine cos it's downright there alright.! much of the muchmuch love.!

i'm thankful for every single day of '08 i've had to spend with us,

because. i've been ready to say it for a veryyy longgg time.! hahaha.

i'm back.!

ouwh, just some entry-ing. before maria comes over delivering my ilsatari tickets for tmr.! whee. =))


roadtrip circling the circumference of Malaysia (literally.!) apparently got extended a day cos "tak sangka kiter bahagia gini." haha.

so instead of the stipulated 'home on 24th', i only managed to dive into the companion of my beloved bed at 2am 26th- for the next twelve hours, hah.!


we set off 3pm on 20/12 Saturday,
got Calio's (super comfy) rented van in JB at 9pm,
then travelllll to our heart's (and stomach's) content for 2500+ click.!

of which, i only managed 50 pathetic kilometres at 110km/hr cos AbgDir was too worn out to supervise my driving at 4am in the morning of Day1. and beloved Daddy banned me from the wheels afterwards, haha.

(manual driving is love.! though muscles were super tensed for that 30mins please.!
110km/hr + 4am + msia's highway + van = scaaary s___.)


much to be told of a roadtrip worth five days, but one thing's a highlight.
i'l never forget how helpless i felt that moment at Air Papan.

thank god for the lifeguards,
thank god for the parents i still have,
thank god for God.

flashbacks will remain a nightmare, but that truly humbling sense of being enormously thankful was a sweet aftermath.

12/12/08- Friday part 1

after midnight, daddy mummy abgdir aimah and myself left the kids asleep at home, haha.! we first settled some bills/fines/whatnots upon getting our bonus (haha.!) and cruiseee over the causeway to Singgah Selalu.!

omg, i was extremely satiated.! scrumptious yum yumm. i shall not mention the bill footed, but i shall mention we reached home only at 5am. hee.

ouwh, of course. the main purpose was to get DVD supplies for CTAU's sleep-over cum Movie Marathon and Popcorn popping on day2. and we did.

12/12/08- Friday part 2

slightly before noon. traveled to CTAU's headquarters- aka rumah nenek in bedok. lil boys were deposited there for my aunt's jurisdiction.

(huh.? sorry, the word just came out. hah.)

the MustaffaS live about 3 blocks down, so they're housing the mini males for the weekend. while the KamalS live few bustops away, housing the mega males.

i know, huh.?! im not attempting to sound nonsensical, it just happens. haha.

so yada yada. after Asar, we (the mini and mega females, lovingly termed 'ladies' hereafter) left the headquarter for the FirstLady'sCrib. yes, in gorgeous yishun.! whee.

ouwh-so-many stuffs happened, of course.!

CTAU's sacred Book was updated. Ms CTAU 2008 was crowned. and MsPresident'09 is still, yours truly. haha.

good old sleep-over days used to feel muchhh more happening, personally. guess i'm just losing my hype by issues of responsibilities over them kids. i was never bothered about bedtime.! but now, i've to pester them to sleep cos we've plans at 7am!

okay, i admit. the pestering only came at 3am. haha.!

13/12/2008 - Saturday Part 1

promptly at 6am, we rose. after Subuh and whatnots, morning exercise.! like bootcamp ey.? haha.! no, was a peaceful morning walk. until we reached hotspring at i-dunno-exactly-where.!

(mum/dad cheated. they cycled to the venue, haha.!)

so there wasnt a hotspring, literally. least the taps were hot.! ignorant of whatever medicinal value supposedly treasured- we're merely jakon of the opportunity to play-with-hotwater.! superb feet-dipping after the longgg walk, haha.

* hotspring whaaat.? hot-taps yo.!

* warning: hot-taps are super hot.! like, boiling hot.! dilution required, haha.

*my perfect balance of hot and cold water. happy feets.! =))

* happy-feet faces.! we who endured the morning exercise, haha.

i dunno what happened to them thru journey home cos Lina (ctau#04) and myself (ctau#03) took over the bicycles. last i heard was,

"smua bawak ezlink card tak.?"

from my dad, hahaha.

so we both cycled around yishun to a faraway market, and made multiple pitstop along the way. ahh.! been sucha longgg time.! =)))))))))

and gosh, much more stories to tell but im growing fatique of re-enactments. or pure sentence construction for that matter. guess i can neverrr be a writer afterall ey.? haha.

and so 14/12/2008- Sunday

we settled with Void-deck Picnic (cos food all cooked.!)

across Bedok Park (aka cousin's flat facing the park, haha.!)

with indoor Captain's Ball, Indoor Badminton, Indoor 3-on-3 Soccer and all other indoor whatnots. ouwh yes, outdoor who-cares-its-raining cycling too.! haha.

the day went gorgeous afterall, rain or not.!

and pheww.! one more event down, blissfully.! hope you darlings enjoyed the weekend.! till next year's Annual CTAU Sleep-Over, rest well and take care.!
